When you think of therapy, you might picture the old-school setup—a fancy leather couch, a stern psychologist jotting down notes. That’s a bit outdated! With me, therapy looks quite different, and it’s all from the comfort of your own space.
I may not have a fancy couch (yet!), but I do have a warm, welcoming virtual space and a genuine interest in understanding your unique story. With Telehealth, therapy is accessible wherever you are, giving you flexibility and comfort in our work together.

What is Telehealth Therapy with Me Like?

Think of individual therapy as having a guide to help you navigate life’s challenges, all through a secure online platform. Sessions are 50 minutes, and how we approach things will depend on what you’re facing and what feels right for you.

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your background, family, work, relationships, and anything else that’s important to your story. You’re in control—share what feels right, and we’ll go at a pace that works for you. Sometimes the issue is clear-cut; other times, we might uncover deeper layers together.

The Roadmap to Moving Forward

Our goal is to understand the problem, explore why it’s happening, and figure out what’s keeping it in place. From there, we’ll create a plan for moving forward. I may have the clinical and research expertise, but you’re always in the driver’s seat. You are the expert of you. If you feel the therapy should take a different direction, let me know—your input shapes the direction of our work together.

The Importance of Connection

The therapist-client relationship is crucial. If there’s anything about my approach that doesn’t sit well with you, please trust your instincts. Therapy is most effective when it feels right for both of us, and I encourage open feedback so our sessions are meaningful for you.
